We totally enjoyed the dinner cruise. The food was served buffet style one time through. It was good home cooking. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The serving line was efficient. The wait staff was excellent. They were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed the boat ride and we were able to walk and sit outside before and after dinner. The entertainment was a saxophone player who did a wonderful job. The atmosphere was very relaxed. I would highly recommend this experience and meal.

My afternoon riverboat tour was relaxing, informative, and fun. It was a very good way to get a better perspective on river life as Samuel Clemens knew it. I look forward to doing it again someday!

This was a fun evening on the river spent with friends. The quartet did a great job of setting the riverboat mood and the food was very good for this large crowd. Excellent beef roast, not nuts about the chicken, but the sides were also very, very good. We happened to hit a full moon evening so watching the moon glow on the river as the evening darkened was very romantic. We found the barges and tugboats of great interest as we passed them in the falling evening. I don't think this is a great experience for kids. The few onboard looked totally bored, but you never know.

We had the best time ever. The food was amazing. The staff was amazing. There was live music the whole time. It was my son's 16th birthday and they gave him a brownie with a candle and the band sang Happy Birthday to him. The evening time was the best time to go. After dinner, up on the boat deck, was absolutely beautiful. 100% recommend this.

We had a great time on the riverboat cruise. We chose the one hour trip and it did not disappoint! The Captain and crew were extremely friendly. They took a photo of our group as we entered and I was pleased to find e cost was only $10. The picture turned out great and is a wonderful memento of our trip to Hannibal. The captain was informative and told great stories about the history of the area. There were some really funny jokes and outrageous tales that kept us entertained. My mom has limited mobility and they were very helpful in finding us a good area to sit with excellent views. I would highly recommend this company!

I've been riding this riverboat since I was a kid—every few years, I come back for the views and the amazing food. Now as an adult, I own HucksGuide.com, a new local business helping promote standout experiences in the Hannibal area. Since Hannibal is just a short drive from me, I’ve been revisiting the best spots to feature — and the Mark Twain Riverboat Dinner Cruise definitely makes the list. When I was younger, the captain even let me visit the wheelhouse — not sure if they still do that, but it was a memory I never forgot. I also blog about my experiences on HucksGuide, and this riverboat will be receiving a very positive review in an upcoming post.If you're planning a trip to Hannibal, I highly recommend booking a dinner cruise. And if you’re looking for more top spots to eat, explore, or relax, check out HucksGuide.com while planning your visit. Check out more local favorites at HucksGuide.com

My husband and I went, on 4th July wkend. Loved tbe crew, the sax player was THE FUNNEST GUY, and included fun dancing and contests with the children on board. Relaxing time, romance in the air, and I got a kick out of not only the ride on ole Mississippi, but the one crew member had a really cool voice. The captian did a fantastic job, along with the bartender,( and young chef), that knew their stuff. Will be coming back soon

We were able to get a drink and wander the boat before dinner. Dinner was buffet-style with chicken and roast beef and all the fixings. After dinner, the dance floor opened up. Music was provided by a saxophone player who played old favorites as well as hits. The best treat of all was one of the crew members who sang a few songs. He was so talented and it was a delight to listen to him. We enjoyed the sunset from the deck and the peaceful river at that time of day.

My husband and I went on this dinner cruise on a chilly, windy April evening. The rain had stopped so we could walk the 4 blocks to the dock/ port. You do need to reserve before hand, limited seats, especially this early in the season. People were very friendly, service good, food very good, saxophone was very nice! Singer/ server did a nice job too!! The rain and clouds were gone so there was a beautiful sunset over the River!! We did walk outside and up to the top to see from there. Very chilly!! Didn’t stay outside for long!!We would have liked a little information about what we were seeing once in awhile while traveling on the river. We enjoyed the 2 hours on the Old Steam Paddle Boat.

The ramp going up to the boat seemed to be at the correct angle. I had help from my wife but believed it wouldn’t be to much of a problem with someone with more upper body strength or power assist. The separation between ramps was the main challenge for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a riser at the doorway going out to the front deck. The staff was very helpful and caring. They placed a small ramp to help with getting over the riser and told us to let them know if we needed back into the cabin and they will get the ramp. The over all experience was excellent. We got a little history of the area and like any other tourist area they had a legend of something that happened in the area.

We went on this boat tour so we could say we were on the Mississippi!!! The staff was friendly. Easy to book via internet. Easy to find once in Hannibel. Was only one hour so not alot of visual. But did give a different look to Lovers leap and information about the river. The boat staff were friendly and they did provide food and drinks for purchase. Hot dogs, chic salad, nachos, popcorn , candy..and did look like it had a full bar. The boat was very comfortable. Three levels. Deck one is all inside, deck 2 is in and out and three all out. One thing I was said about is they have cover over the paddlewheel so you couldn't see it. Kinda defeats the purpose of being on a paddleboat....is to see the paddlewheel. Lol Be prepared that the water is not clear like the ocean or gulf....but the Muddy Mississippi. At this time it was above the banks so lots of debre. **parking is a bit tricky, the handicapped assigned parking is NOT the closest parking to the gangway. Be prepared to walk if using a walker! Not handicapped friendly for parking.

A riverboat ride on the Mississippi River from Hannibal, Mo. Is a no Brainer. The MARK TWAIN riverboat is really fun. We didn't do the dinner cruise as the boat was booked for a private party but the hour cruise was delightful and the ship offers plenty of food for all tastes. The heads (toilets) were in working order, a good thing for an old guy!

Author: Twyla Duncan | Date: 4/15/2024 | Source: google | Rating: 5 stars

We enjoyed both the sightseeing tour (on April 1] and the dinner cruise (on April 12). The sightseeing tour was very informative. It was a beautiful, smooth cruise on the Mississippi. The dinner cruise had great live music (instrumental and vocals). The service was top notch (from the bar tender who made the kids great non-alcoholic drinks to the cruise director Tammy, to the very pleasant and hard working Aubrielle). This was a gorgeous 2 hour cruise going further south than the day time one. It was reasonably priced for such a nice meal, entertainment and River cruise! We all loved the food (salad, macaroni salad, green beans, baked potatoes, rolls, chicken, beef, dessert, tea or water). We all left with full bellies.
